1.Raag is given birth from Thaat.
2. Raag should have minimum Five Sur.
3.Raag should have Aarohan and Avrohan.
4.It is compulsory to have either “Ma”or “Pa”Sur in a raag.
5.It is not allowed to sing same Sur ie Komal and Shudh (Teevr and Shudh) one after the other in a Raag.
