Meend.

Meend is a glide to go from one Swar to another without any obstruction.In order to show the presence of the middle swars a Meend is shown.This practice is often used in vocal and instrumental music.It is very important part of classical music.It is also conidered as a part of alankar or ornamentation of swars.For eg:going from Pa to Ga Sur ,Ma is not written but shown by a Meend or curve from Pa to Ga,which means Pa Ma Ga.
